Rangers carry guns in Madikwe Game Reserve because vehicles are open and get close to the animals. Shooting an animal is not OK unless it attacks. Many Madikwe lodges include a bushman tracker with the guide in the safari experience. Trackers often get out of the vehicle to look for tracks.
