Remittances to Ghana fell by 6.4% during the first-half of 2013, according to the Bank of Ghana.The decline was on a year-on-year basis as transfers were received through the country’s banking system.
“Private inward transfers received through the banking system from January to June 2013, declined by 6.4% on a year-on-year basis to $8.3 billion,” says the Bank.
